I identify with your pain and struggle. I’m so glad you have already come to realize what took me a number of years longer than you: that God loves you as the whole, healthy and lovable person you are; that you are not somehow “flawed” or “damaged” because you love a person of your own sex, but rather, are living your life in the manner that God intended for you, God’s valued and beloved creation.

I pray that you will continue to grow and progress in health and happiness and that your parents (and the camp, and your denomination, whatever it may be, and the Covenant, and North Park) will come to realize the harm and damage they cause when they reject an innate part of who we are as human beings with a homosexual (or bisexual) orientation.
